PRESHITA PARMAR
Ms. Preshita joined Visamo Kids Foundation in Year 2008. She is daughter of a farmer. We got her admitted in prestigious Anand Niketan School in Sr. KG. She is smart and intelligent. She is a fast learner. She uses her knowledge in daily life as well.
RAHUL SOLANKI
Son of a single parent, Rahul is 11-years-old. His mother is a teacher in a local balwadi (rural village school) in Surat. He joined Visamo in 2002 and was 13-years-old at that time. He is studying in St. Kabir in Grade VII. Rahul is a very cheerful and playful child. He is confident and is good in his studies. Rahul is a fast learner and is an all rounder as he is good in co-curricular activities too. He dances very well and has also taken up skating as an outdoor sport.
RAJU SAPRA
Son of a salt pan worker, Raju is 15-years-old and is studying in Prerna School (Ahmedabad) in Grade IX. He came to Visamo in the year 2002 when he was 9-years-old. At the time of joining Visamo Kids Foundation, his parents were reluctant to send him as he is the only male child among six daughters. But, the NGO, with whose collaboration his case had been forwarded to us, convinced his parents about his bright future. He has been diagnosed with Dyslexia (where the child is intelligent but has difficulty processing the written data). After the diagnosis, he has been shifted to Prerna (a school for Dyslexic children). He is a very good basket-ball player and is an under-14 National level player.
 RAKESH CHAUHAN
Son of a driver, Rakesh is 13-years-old currently studying in Grade VII of Eklavya School. He came to Visamo in 2002 when he was 7-years-old. He is a fast learner and finishes a given task speedily as well as accurately. Therefore, to keep him intellectually challenged, he needs to be given extra assignments and academic tasks. Besides studies, he is interested in sports, he likes cycling and skating. Due to his high intellect and learning powers, he needs emotional and social counseling from time to time, and so our professional counselor spends time with him regularly.
RESHMA HANS
This 14-year-old is the daughter of a sweeper. She is currently studying in Prerna School (Ahmedabad) in Grade VIII. She came to Visamo in 2002 when she was 8-years-old. Reshma has been diagnosed with Dyslexia (where the child is intelligent but has difficulty processing the written data). After the diagnosis, she has been shifted to Prerna (a school for Dyslexic children). She is interested in drawing, dancing and the beautician’s profession.
 RINKI SHETTY
Rinki is the daughter of a dyeing factory labourer and her mother is a maid-servant. Presently she is studying in Tulip school in Grade VIII. She came to Visamo in 2002 and was 13-years-old. Rinki is an independent child. She is very good in academics and does self-study. She is well mannered, always willing to help others and is self-disciplined. She takes part in every activity of her school as well as at Visamo. She has a neat and well-formed handwriting. Rinki is very conscious of her personal hygiene as well as appearance; hence she is neat and clean in her dress-up. Since she is very good in drawing, she volunteers for teaching drawing to her friends at VKF and gives constant guidance to them. She is learning Bharatnatyam at school.
ROHIT DANGAR
Son of salt-pan worker from Dhagadhara, Rohit is 12-years-old. He is studying in Grade VII of Eklavya School. He came to VKF in December 2002. He is a well-behaved and quiet child who loves to solve logical sums. He loves Maths. Academically he is very brilliant and is a fast learner.
 SANJAY PARMAR
Son of a Driver, Sanjay is 15-years-old. Presently he is studying in Grade IX of Prerna School (Ahmedabad). He came to Visamo in 2002 when he was 9-years-old. He has been diagnosed with Dyslexia (where the child is intelligent but has difficulty processing the written data). After the diagnosis, he has been shifted to Prerna (a school for Dyslexic children). He is keenly interested in drawing and playing instruments, especially the Drums. Also, he is highly intelligent as he is very good with making different electrical models where he uses battery and winding motors from broken toy cars or waste thing and passes the electric circuit through every model at the same time.
SAURAV GAMIT
Saurav is from Mandal, near Surat is he is the son of a farm labourer. He is 8-years-old, studying in Tulip School in Grade III. He came to Visamo Kids Foundation in March 2006. He is very quiet and shy child and has a beautiful smile. Since he lived in the interiors of the district he did not get much academic exposure, but after efforts by teachers, he is now able to cope with studies.
