HEENA RATHOD
She is a single parent child and her mother works as a Gruhmata at VKF. Her father died in a car accident. She is presently studying in Grade V of Delhi Public School (Bopal). She is 11 years old. Heena is a very loving child and displays self-discipline. She respects her elders. She loves drawing and dancing.
 JIGNASHA RATHOD
Daughter of a Municipal Labour, Jignasha’s mother helps the family by assisting as a seamstress and providing household help. She is right now studying in H.B. Kapadia School in Grade VIII. She is 13 years old. She is good at Maths and loves dancing and music. We are helping her become more responsible about her belongings and also improve her concentration level.
 JIGNESH KALAL
Jignesh is the son of a Driver. This 13-year-old child studies in St. Kabir School in Grade VIII. He is a very sensitive child. He loves Commercial Arts.
 JITENDRA WAGH
Son of a widow, his mother works as a house-maid. He has been diagnosed with Dyslexia (where the child is intelligent but has difficulty processing written data). After the diagnosis, he has been shifted to Prerna (a school for Dyslexic children). He is studying in Grade IX. He is 15 years old. Today, he has a positive approach towards life and has an aptitude towards working with electric gadgets.
JOHNSON GAMIT
Johnson is the son of a Field Labourer who helps with cultivation of various crops. He is studying in Delhi Public School (Bopal) in Grade III. He is 9 years old. He joined Visamo Kids Foundation in January 2006. In the beginning he took some time to mix with Visamo family. Today he is the center of attraction and is showered with attention and love by all staff and children of Visamo. Johnson is a very playful and loving child. He is intelligent and a keen observer. He is motivated to learn new things and is curious to know more. He likes to solve jigsaw puzzles.
 KAJAL SONAVANE
Kajal is the daughter of a Driver. She is studying in Tulip School in Grade VII. She is 13 years old. A very loving and delicate child, Kajal is very meticulous and regular in her work. She is a fast learner, but takes time to learn some Math concepts. She is responsible and manages her own things well. She does self-study and rarely seeks help. She has keen interest in drawing, dancing and singing.
 KETAN KABIRA
Son of single parent, he has two brothers. He is the son of a Labourer. Presently, he is studying in Asia English School in Grade VIII. He is 15 years old. He came to Visamo Kids Foundation in December 2002. When he had joined Visamo, it was challenging to teach him the concept of study and become academically inclined. But today, with the support and guidance of our staff, he has progressed and improved his academic performance. Initially, Ketan was a shy child, but care and support have helped him come out of his shell of diffidence. He is good at drawing and dramatics.
 KHUSHBOO MAKWANA
Her father is a Sweeper. She is a very quiet girl. She joined VKF in February 2005. She is 9 years old and studies in Delhi Public School (Bopal) in Grade IV. She is very playful and talkative. She is positive in her approach to life and has an aptitude towards drawing and dancing.
 KIRAN PARMAR
Mas. Kiran joined Visamo Kids Foundation in the Year 2008. Son of a Labourer, he is 6 yrs old has one brother and two sisters. We identified him through our partnering NGO Bajrang Khadi Gram Udhyog, Rajkot. We got him admitted in Delhi Public School (Bopal) in Senior KG. Kiran participates in language activities and performs well when any reward is given.
MAHAVIR JINJUWADIA
Son of Salt Pan Worker from Dhagadhara, Mahavir is 14-years-old. He is studying in HB Kapadia School in Grade VII; the school follows the ICSE Board. He came to VKF in December 2002. Initially he missed his family, but after the love and care he received from his peers, gruhmatas and teachers, he is happily settled today. He is a well behaved and playful child. He is fond of reading. He likes to read story books and comics. He is very good at logical thinking. He loves science and social-studies (humanities) but dislikes Hindi.
